Engineering Directorate is the central focus for Mission Systems
Integration activities within Raytheon, responsible for defining
customer needs, functional and product architecture, requirements
definition and decomposition, Model Based Systems Engineering
(MBSE), system performance, and System Security Engineering
(SSE).The SPY-6 Family of Radars and the GhostEye family of radars
are seeking a Systems Engineer to help in the execution of
integration and analysis activities. In this role, the selected
candidate will be responsible for helping to identify issues,
generate solutions, and verify the solutions are implemented as
designed. This role will require communication skills to convey
solutions and results to teammates and leadership. This position
can be located in either Tewksbury, MA or Marlborough, MA and may

Anticipate:
- Development of concepts of operations for radar systems
- Radar processing algorithm development
- Radar software requirements development
- Statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance
data
- Analysis tool development in support of problem identification
and resolution
- Collaboration with Systems and Software Engineers to develop
and implement solutions
- Present findings and solutions to Leadership and/or
Customers
- Additional focus areas for these radar systems include signal
processing and waveform design, electronic protection methods,
phased array and digital beamforming technology, radar search,
track and discrimination design, target and threat modeling,
integration and test of large radar systems, MBSE.
- This position requires daily on-site support and is not open to
hybrid or remote possibilitiesQualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology,
Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior relevant
experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 3 years of
prior relevant experience. In absence of a degree, 9 years of
relevant experience is required. A PhD can account for 5 years of
experience as required for this position.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued
security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as
only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security
clearance.Qualifications We Value:
- An active and in-scope Secret US security clearance
- Experience with design, development, and analysis of radar
system and software architectures
- Experience with signal processing techniques in complex
propagation environments
- Design experience in the following radar system areas; antenna,
receiver/exciter, waveforms, digital beamforming, multi-sensor
track management and data fusion, adaptive signal processing,
clutter mitigation techniques, electronic attack and electronic
protect, sensor resource management and mission planning
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Requirements development experience, including use of
DOORS
- Experience with MATLAB/Python/C++
- Experience with technical writing and oral presentations

USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith
estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers
