General Job Description
--- Maintain patient's safe passage in and out of the practice
--- Greet, assess and interview patients
--- Obtain past medical and surgical history, family history, social history, vital signs
--- Review present medications, allergy history, chief complaint
--- Prepare and assist patients for examination, treatment, or procedure by provider
--- Anticipate needs of patients, and the provider
--- Monitoring of patient during examination, or procedure
--- Maintain and update level of skill for pertinent paramedic duties
--- Maintain patient care areas
--- Stocking and ordering of supplies as needed, and maintaining clean exam rooms
--- Charge and code supplies, medications, and procedures
--- Respond to patient's concerns in person or by telephone while simultaneously documenting the problem
--- Maintains patient confidentiality
--- Administers medications and IVs per physician's orders
--- Perform a variety of preliminary procedures, including phlebotomy, injections, throat cultures and more
Qualifications:
--- Current Massachusetts Paramedic Licensure
--- Current ACLS/BLS licensure
--- Knowledge of medical terminology
--- Team Player
--- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Varied hours. Required to work a minimum of 4 shifts per month including at least 1 weekend shift per month.

ACLS (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH), Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH), Emergency Medical Services EMT Paramedic - Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) - Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS), INSTRUCTOR- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH), INSTRUCTOR- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH)
